July 5, 1958-July 4, 2019 CHRIS CLINE never forgot his upbringing in the West Virginia coal mines. As his business savvy made him a billionaire, he did not forget his hometown of Isaban, his home state or its people, especially children, in need. Mr. Cline, 60, died Thursday in a helicopter...

My heart is saddened and broken for the loss of a child hood friend. I grew up going to his home in Isaban wV where our moms and dads were close friends. My memories were going to Sunday school , playing out side at his home almost every Sunday. His family moved to Brenton and we lost track of our friendship but I was so proud of the accomplishments that he made in life. I will never forget him and my prayers go out to the family.

I never had the opportunity to meet Mr Cline, but I knew people who knew him and it is a very tragic and sad day for all involved. He certainly lived life to the fullest and always represented West Virginia with a lot of class and dignity. It says so much that he never forgot his roots and was so willing to give back! He touched so many lives in WV, FL, IL and beyond and will continue to touch lives through his incredible generosity! That is definitely something to be proud of.

I've heard many stories about Chris Cline over the years from my sister and brother-in-law Dennis and Tina Cook who went to Baileysville High School with Chris. West Virginia has lost two special people Chris and Cameron. God be with them always and comfort the ones left behind.
