Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to see that Elder Denver has passed away. I served with him in Nauvoo in the summer of 1978. This was one of the most spiritual times in my life. I remember Elder Denver as a strong spritual leader. I remember how thrilled he was when he announced that his parents had gone to the Temple. He considered this a great blessing for serving a mission. You will see him again, live to be with him forever. This life is but a moment. See you in the sprit world Chris.

The Denver Family,

Our prayers go out to all of you. I have fond momories of Chris as a friend, ward-member, golfer, neighbor, and employer. You're family is a testiment of families.

Susan, Smiley, Margo and the rest of the Denver family:

So sad to read about Chris's passing in the newspaper last night. He was one of those guys that I always looked up to and emulated while growing up in Roosevelt, and the great Roosevelt 2nd Ward.

Our condolences go out to all of you during this time. May the Lord bless and comfort you, and bring you peace.

Love,
Andy (son of Frank & Kay)& Emily Madsen & family

I was deeply saddened to hear of the untimely death of Chris. I have many fond memories of Chris from High School as well as while rooming with Chris at the University of Utah. Chris was forever upbeat, kind, and had a smile for everyone. He deeply loved his family and will be sorely missed by all those who knew him! My prayers are with Chris's own family as well as the extended family. I do not know the author of this poem, but find solace within its lines.

I haven't seen Chris since graduation, but I do have fond memories of him. Outgoing,(man, could he dress!) cheerful, supportive, and reverent. I remember that he always has this great smile, and could walk into a room and make others smile also. I feel blessed that I had the chance to know him.
To his family, I am very sorry for your loss. GOD will give you strength.

Chris: I did not really get to know you as a man but your parents treated both you and I as family when I knew you as a baby. For that reason I lament your being taken away. We'll meet.

Smiley, Margo and Family,

I was shocked to hear about Chris. I still do not understand why he was taken and not I. I suppose GOD is the only one that knows. It brought back many memories.

One for instance was when Brent Drollinger cut his hair and shaved off his eye broughs, in High School. There are many more good memories.

Take Heart in what Chris accomplished in this Earthly Existence,
