Not sure what to say?

In the spring of 1954 I met Cris on a three day pass from my tdy assignment with 70th engineering btn in Saalfelden, Austria. in Munich Germany w e met his sister and did some touring; Henry Peddle

I often think of Cris and Erich Klinghammer. we were army buddies serving in Austria 1953-1955

Chris, Erich, and I visited Casablanca on the way home from our military service in Austria. Chris was able to
obtain shore passes for all three of us off our troop ship that was docked for a few hours. This was quite a feat
considering only about three hundred were able to get passes of about two thousand on the ship. I have many fond memories of 65 years ago when we served in the U S Army together in different Army units.

We miss Chris. Erich Klinghammer, Chris and I entered the US Army at the same time at Fort Sheridan Illinois. We left the army together in 1955 again at Fort Sheridan. We all kept touch during and after our military service. I still think of the good times spent with my army buddies in Austria and in the USA. All three of us went overseas on the same ship and returned home on the same ship. Henry and Jo Peddle April 16, 2019
