Not sure what to say?

Chris Mann, who was a Captain @ Shaw AFB, SC in 1963 was my boss for several years. Capt. Mann was one of the best bosses I have had in my now 80+ years of life. The Air Force was only remiss in not promoting her to Major General! Wonderful, loyal woman!

Chris Mann was a distant aunt of mine.
Chris' mother and my step-grandfather, Fred
were sister and brother.
Chris Mann who became a brigadier general in the
U.S. Air Force set a great example for me to serve my country as I went on to serve 20 years in the military. She will be missed.

Chris, then retired, invited me to join a group of her friends for after church lunch. That friendship lunch lasted for several years. I miss her.

Very sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed her company when visiting Joan Miller.Kirk Reinhardt

Even though I did not know General Mann , after reading her obituary I am humbled . What a fine lady she was. RIP and thank you for your service . I would imagine the number of service members you mentored and made friends with were many. God Bless

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

My sincerest condolences to the entire family. May you find comfort among friends and have peace over time. 2kings 20:5
