Chris D. Manzer

Mr. Manzer has always had a very special place in my heart. I met him when I was a shy freshman at Woodland High School taking my first college class at Woodland Community College. Not only was he a helpful and inspiring teacher, he was also a fascinating individual who often entertained us during our breaks with his stories about living in England, his art and other aspects of his wonderful life. I knew Chris best as friend growing up in church together in Dumas, Texas. He was clever and witty and fun to be around as a teenager. His life sounds full of love and caring for people, just as he planned so long ago. May God comfort those he left behind knowing he lived a well-chosen life.

My most sincere condolences for Colleen, Michelle and family. Colleen, I know that you loved Chris well and indeed made every moment count. You are all in my prayers.

Chris Manzer was a beloved professor at Woodland Community College, I was his student and I enjoyed him in class as well as passing him through the walls. When I hears about his passing it hurt me dearly. Mr. Manzer will be truely missed on the WCC campus.

We will miss Chris very much. He was such a warm and delightful person. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
