Mr. Manzer has always had a very special place in my heart. I met him when I was a shy freshman at Woodland High School taking my first college class at Woodland Community College. Not only was he a helpful and inspiring teacher, he was also a fascinating individual who often entertained us during our breaks with his stories about living in England, his art and other aspects of his wonderful life. As an educator he touched and enriched countless lives, and I will never forget him. I only...

I knew Chris best as friend growing up in church together in Dumas, Texas. He was clever and witty and fun to be around as a teenager. His life sounds full of love and caring for people, just as he planned so long ago. May God comfort those he left behind knowing he lived a well-chosen life.

My most sincere condolences for Colleen, Michelle and family. Colleen, I know that you loved Chris well and indeed made every moment count. You are all in my prayers.

Chris Manzer was a beloved professor at Woodland Community College, I was his student and I enjoyed him in class as well as passing him through the walls. When I hears about his passing it hurt me dearly. Mr. Manzer will be truely missed on the WCC campus.

We will miss Chris very much. He was such a warm and delightful person. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
