Chris and I were close friends during my first two years at St. Louis U. High. He made a significant impact on my life through his friendship,imagination, and poetry. I still have many of the poems he wrote during that time, 1972-1973, including one which he wrote about me - one of the finest gifts I have ever received in my life. I was a classmate of Chris(of course, I knew him as Stanley) at St Annes, and remember him as very smart, and very kind. Somehow, time at a Monastery doesn't seem surprising. My condolances to all his loved ones. CB
