Funeral for Chris Millsap, 45, of Hartselle will be Friday, April 26, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Nicky Pressnell officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Millsap, who died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, was born January 25, 1968, in Morgan County to Martin Glenn Millsap and Janet Dianne Sandlin Millsap. Chris was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a registered nurse for Huntsville Hospital (Women & Children). He was a loving father, son, and brother. His mother, Janet Dianne Millsap, preceded him in death.

Survivors include one son, Christopher Millsap of West Point; one daughter, Macy Millsap of West Point; father, Martin Millsap of Hartselle; one sister, Tina Millsap Parker of Hartselle; nephew, Hunter Prater of Hartselle; and grandmothers, Ruby Millsap and Ruth Willis.

Pallbearers will be Craig Sapp, Richard Hamm, Hunter Prater, Michael

Millsap, Joe Millsap and Darryl Sandlin.

Jerry and I just learned of the lost of Chris. Our hearts go out to all of you. Though we are neighbors we never actually got to meet him in person but we feel your lost just the same as if we had known him. All of you are in our prayers.

Martin and Tina, I did not know about Chris until yesterday. My prayers are with both of you. Chris was a very special person. I enjoyed conversing with him and we had many good laughs through the years. I was always amazed at his intelligence and wit. May God bless you.
