Not sure what to say?

Dear Sahm Family,
I just found out about Chris' accident. I am devastated. We had not been in touch since we did forensics together in high school. I went to St. Joseph Hill on Staten Island. He was such a lovely and inspiring person -- one of my favorite people ever, actually. His brilliance was palpable. Such a tragedy. My love goes out to you. He was a fabulous person.

I performed in the musical "Oliver!" alongside Chris when he was 12 y/o. The show changed my life; For those of you who didn't know about his talent as an actor, in December 1991, Chris was the perfect "Oliver Twist"(title role) there could possibly be. When he sang "Where is Love?" next to a candle the whole audience actually believed he was an orphan in 19th Century London and it was so moving as everyone cried. It was remarkable and I'll never forget that. I also performed in "Babes in...

Dear Sahm Family,

I found out about this terrible tragedy via Facebook today after doing a search to hopefully reconnect with him after losing touch for so many years. My family speaks of him often and I only have the most wonderful memories of him growing up. He taught me how to play poker. Every time I watch Friends or hear the theme music I think of him because he was at my parent's house very early on in its first season and he had mentioned how great he thought the show was....

Dear Suellen, Michael and Megan, the one time I met Chris in NY while working with Suellen, I could see instantly that beaming, vibrant light evident in his smile and in his radiant soul. It is not ever to be extinguished for he is surely shining his love for humanity in the heavens just as brightly as he does in your hearts and memories. I am so deeply saddened for this tragedy in all of your lives. My heart will be with you - for always.

My sincerest condolences to Megan and the rest of the Sahm family.Chris and I moved into the same buidling in NY and I was getting to know him as he moved to Stanford. He was the kindest soul-always welcoming and approachable. He was always willing to help. He was always smiling and my prayers are with all his loved ones

Words cannot capture what a wonderful and beautiful person Chris is. I loved and adored him and miss him dearly.

Reading tributes to Chris reminded me of all the wonderful times with Suellen and Michael during our same stage of life
Apparently you passed on all your unique, memorable and cherished personality attributes -and then some

You are in our every prayer

My heart goes out to Suellen, Michael, Addie, other members of the family and friends. My deepest heartfelt condolences...JR
