Not sure what to say?

Harriett,
I am so sorry for the loss of your brother Chris, I just now heard about it or I would have been at the funeral. I remember our families getting together and all the fun we had. Please call when you get a chance.

Harriet and family and friends of Chris Sheppard, I'm so sorry for your loss. The world has lost such a talented and gifted friend. My mother and his Mother were the best of friends and I remember him coming to her funeral. He taught them how to draw and he drew a picture of my grandparents from a picture in the 70's. My Mother treasured it and I still have it. I'm glad I was able to see the play that he wrote "The Benchwarmers." He had such talent in everything he did. He will be sorely...

Bye Chris. We were inseparable for many years. What a crew we ran (Chris, Russell, Joey, Randy, Jim, Jerry, Keith, Don...canoeing, rafting, camping and every Wed, Fri and Sat). Despite the odds we found our place in the world, adventure, outrageous memories and antics worthy of the best playwright. Truth is stranger than fiction....don't we know it. You were better to me than I deserved. Thank you.

Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of Chris. We were part of a group of friends that did everything together inthe 80's.I have many fond memories of Chris.I will miss him deeply.

Karen, Jeff, and the Sheppard Family -

Only today I learned of Chris' passing from Patricia Morrow... I am so very sorry I wasn't there. I first met Chris the fall of 1978, along with Diana and Cooper. Chris was one of my best friends and one of a wonderful close group of folks who became my 'family' when my own family excluded me. I'd seen Chris several times in later years when trips brought me thru Jacksonville. I will miss his emails and holiday cards, and news of the wonderful...

Dear Sheppard Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I became good friends with Chris about 25 years ago living in Jacksonville/Riverside area and don't know how I survived my 20's without his smiling face and great sense of humor. Even though I moved to California, Chris kept in touch with me through emails and Christmas cards which both were always something to look forward to getting. I will miss him dearly.

What a loss for the theatre community as well as those who knew, worked with and loved Chris. He always had such a sweet calming spirit combined with a sharp wit that could take you by surprise and leave you rolling. I will miss his hugs and awesome words of encouragement, but it is comforting to know that we have our very own theatre angel watching over us.

Dear Sheppard family,
I am very sorry for your loss, Chris(Mr. Sheppard) was my 8th grade teacher at St.Matthews in 1983. To this day I can answer questions on Jeopardy based on what Mr. Sheppard taught us. Some subjects included Broadway, Agatha Christie novels and other books and musicals. I had caught up with Mr. Sheppard recently at Publix and I am glad I was able to do so.
