Our condolences to Chris' family from your art friends at the Fallbrook Art Center. Chris' painting in our 2016 Signature show 'Rocks of Ages' was given the 'Juror's Special Award' for both outstanding work and a lifetime commitment to the watercolor medium by juror John T. Salminen, AWS-DF, NWW. Chris will be deeply missed.

Sad to hear my dear Uncle Chris has passed. I will always remember him as the California brother who did well doing what he loved, his art. He will be missed from up here in Canada. I will never forget how my simple questions could turn into the most amazing stories which were even more lively when " the brothers" got together.

So Sorry - we just heard and are broken hearted - our Uncle Chris was always bigger than life and I can't believe he is gone. I will never forget his generosity to my husband and I on our honeymoon - and listening to stories he told about old times growing up with his brothers in Toronto - hockey stories about Father Quesnelle - almost word for word as I had heard them from my own father. Just like to say we will miss him dearly, although we only got to visit on occasions when both he and aunt Caroline visited. We've kept every Christmas card which are all masterpieces. One time when he was in town our emails got crossed, I missed our visit and went to the cottage. I came home to a drawing slipped in the door of our house, Mini Cooper sitting in the driveway, all the gardens in full bloom, and the large birch tree on the lawn all on the drawing.
