Jul. 9, 1980 - Mar. 15, 2017 Professional basketball legend Chris Williams dies at age 36. He is survived by his loving parents, David and Cheryl Williams; brothers, David II and Daniel Williams; grandparents, Willie "Snoot" and Catherine Carson, The Virginia basketball family, other relatives and many friends. Viewing will be held Tuesday 2pm-9pm at Roberts Chapel (1337 Bessemer Road, Birmingham 35208). Funeral service on Wednesday 11am at New Beginnings Family Baptist Church (500 B.Y. Williams Drive, Midfield), burial in Valhalla cemetery. Roberts Central Park Chapel, directing.

I woke up this morning with my mind on Jesus and was lead to send a message via Facebook to Chris. My heart is full and I sincerely send my condolences to his family. GOD will make it alright.
