Not sure what to say?

My family became friends with Chris & Sylvia at the time they immigrated to America. We lived on Lindhurst St. in the city. This was back in the mid '50s. What wonderful memories. What a blessing to have remained friends all of these years. May his memory be eternal. May our Lord Jesus comfort you in your time of sorrow. Chris has been freed from the cares of this life. Be happy for him. One day all of God's children will be reunited, of this you can be sure. What a joyous day that...

Dear Srebra, Sandy, Patty & Family,
We are so saddened to hear of Chris' passing. He was a kind prson and my dad's best friend at church. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

Chris Yare was a kind and generous man whom I met through his daughter Patty when I was in college. He and his wife Silvia would cook for us, chat with us, and make me feel at home when I came to visit. With my home far away in Boston, it was comforting to be there on so many occasions. He has since been a pleasure to visit, and has shown the same kindness and generosity toward my own children. We will miss him and keep his memory fondly in our hearts.
