Not sure what to say?

This reminder of your mom saddened me all over again. Trust that she is in a better place!

Mrs. Bromley was a lovely lady and a gifted cook. She was one of my favorite people when I worked at Wheeler High School. Her great dignity, caring ways and delicious lunches nourished all in so many ways. Rest in peace, Christa. Betsy Mercer

Dear Rosi, Ingrid, and Alfred, I´m sorry to hear of "Tante Christa´s" passing. The best she leaves behind is the smile on those faces who remember her. Love to all of you. Jürgen

Sad to hear that my aunt passed away. If anybody of the family wants to contact me: [email protected]

I went to NS elementary in 1965 and 1966...I do indeed remember Mrs. Bromley! May she rest in peace after a life well-lived.

co.I also lived on RTE. 2 in N.S. not far from Christa. Very nice person she would lite-up a room when she entered .Very nice family . God Bless her family and friends. Never forget the good people that you meet along the way. What a great life she had on this earth. Always a friend Carol Burdick Aurora,

My sympathies to the family of Mrs. Bromley. Every child who attended NS schools had the amazing opportunity to cross paths with the most lovely of the lunch ladies, and Mrs. Bromley always greeted us all with smiles. She is one of the people I will fondly remember from our school.

We got free lunches right away as money got tight. She made a truly difficult situation for my sister, brother and me painless of any embarrassment. We would simply walk through the line with our lunch trays and she would nod with a smile and tremendous empathy. One of the kindest gestures I have ever experienced. May she...

I´m sorry to hear of Mrs. Bromley´s passing. She is in the childhood memories of so many North Stonington kids. My father always appreciated her work at the senior center after her retirement. Nobody ran a kitchen like her!
