Christa was a warm and loving person. I knew her many years ago and so funny, just asked Elfi about her a few days ago. She told me she had a brain tumor. I was so sadden by this news. She was and still is a sweet, caring lady that has touched the lives of so many. She now has a new spirit and body that knows no pain, sorrow or tears. She is home where we will all find this in our Father. For there are many rooms in my Father's mansion. Earth is just a learning ground and now she is home.

I knew Christa for many, many years at VCE. I had many long talks with her and visited her in her cubicle many, many times. She would make you laugh and tell funny things, but mostly she talked about her life in Germany and her family. I will miss her deeply, but will always keep her close to my heart. May she rest in peace and feel the warmth of God's hands upon her as she makes her journey into heaven!

My sincere condolences to the family. I grew up with Christl in Wertheim, Germany. I had the pleasure of spending a weekend in San Antonio, TX at one of our Hometown reunions, a memory that I will not forget. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep, since we had a lot of catching up to do, but it sure was nice visiting with Christl and her sister Maria. I will always remember the good time we had.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of a lady I considered to be a special friend. Christa approached her job as a professional with standards and integrity rare in the workplace. She approached her friends with a warm smile, a frequent funny story and a sincere interest in their well being. I was proud to call Christa a colleague and prouder still to consider her my dear friend who I will sorely miss.
