Oh, Cris..my friend for nearly three decades..
How I shall miss our hour plus long political conversations but not nearly as much as I shall miss you! It comforts me to know that as you now reside in your celestial home, healthy, whole and pain free but that does not ease my heartache . I love you my very special friend.

I met Chris in 2011 or 2012 when we were both working for the State of Michigan Dept of Education, and we became fast friends. Her wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm were always with her despite any challenges in life. Her curiosity, positivity, wit & humor were always appreciated and we shared many laughs together.
