Christian John Camenisch II

Just came across this and wanted to add a quick note of remembrance. I was stationed in Heidelberg in the Army in 1973 and met Christian at the Hotel Roter Hahn where he was staying during his studies there. In our brief conversation I was stuck by his charm and sincerity. He left me his card and I have somehow kept it all these years. Looks like you lived a commendable life, may you rest in peace.

I haven't seen my DKE brother in years and just found out he's gone on... here's to a life well lived , they'll never be another like Christian.. as he always said: Look good, be good, do good. Rest in Peace, Brother

I met Mr camenisch when I lived in Washington DC. He was a lawyer and working at united airline. I think. I moved to California for my job. He was very nice man. Sorry to learn his passing. I wanted to ask him about Walmart family. Well rest in peace Mr. Camenisch.

Just found out about Chris' passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.
I met him many years ago, through a mutual friend, the late-Bill Reddick, here in Nashville. May he RIP - but it's hard to imagine him resting at all.

Over the last 49 years and as a result of my friendship with his sister, Johanna (really the whole family), i got to know Chris. He was one of the most exuberant persons i have ever met. Always working on a plan to correct an injustice or bring a new idea to fruitition, Chris was a force on the side of the angels who are surely welcoming one of their own. God speed, Chris.

Chris and I met for the first time in August of 1964 the day we joined the Marine Corps. We not only served together for the next few years but remained close friends from then on. Two things about Christian that I will always remember is his smile and that laugh. I am truly sorry that I will not be able to attend his services. He was very proud to be a Marine, we also served together in the Marine Corps League where he served as Judge Advocate.
