Not sure what to say?

Chris and I were friends for over 50 years.
We shared our mutual interest in
firearms, bowie knives and other weapons.
We met often for dinner when he visited my home
in Marina Del Rey. We also met at various Arms Shows and enjoyed dinner with our conversation often turning to respectable wines and vintages. I remember meeting his beautiful wife Vaughn in Kansas City just days after their marriage. Chris was a knowledgeable expert on Weapons and
it was my pleasure to...

I got to know Chris through our children, who were the ame age. My wife and I spent a lot of time with Chris and Vaughn and their kids, going to Chinese restaurants, having duck dinners, and boating on Lake Tahoe in his woodie. Always fun and memorable. i will always remember Chris with great fondness and affection.

Chris, as we called him, was my father (Greg Martin's) best friend for 50 years. He was like a loving uncle to my sister Monica and I. As young children he spared no expense on gifts and became more and more of a delight to be around as we grew up. Charming, Witty, and a true gentleman are the words that come to mind when I think back on all the times shared with this extraordinary man. He will always be in my heart.

Chrissy & I went together for a couple of years in our younger days, and I had the pleasure of spending time with his late family. Chris was a true gentleman in every sense of the word, and there are few who carry themselves in the dignified manner that did he. It is with much sadness to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathy to those who survive him.
