In memory and honor of Christian whom we lost in the early days of the Operation. We are as indebted to him now as we were then. You have not been forgotten and your legacy will carry on thru the hearts and minds of not only loved ones, but others as well.

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Gurtner Family know that we recently sent Care Packages to American troops in the war zones. Each box carried a dedication sheet that includes the name, service information and a photo of your loved one. I remember and still think about my Marine buddies who lost their lives as we swept across the Pacific islands during WW2. I lost a very close Fort Wayne buddy who lost his life on Peleliu. I lost another Fort Wayne Marine friend during the Korean war whose body was never found. I consider myself one of the fortunates who survived and made it home to be with family again. My heart goes out to the surviving family members of this good Marine young man. Semper Fidelis.
