Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry for your loss, Christian was a good man.

I hold wonderful memories of cousin Louie, rip

Time doesn't erase memories, it was a great blessing to meet with Lou again after many years. I still miss his laugh, emails, an our connections to trains, trolleys, self-propelled rail cars. My Central Vermont Railway Brill car is nearing completion, connections to Germany and Korea there too. Peace is with you, Lou. I'm thankful for that.

Miss his laugh and emails. Glad we got together after so many years. April is important. I came home from Korea in April. Soo Ok and I were married in April.
The memory of your spouse remains forever.

Time has a way of seeming just a moment ago and a long time ago depending on the circumstances. In this situation it feels very recent. Have a tin figure on my desk of a man guiding a Bavarian beer wagon. It reminds me of Lou as I bought this in Germany many years ago near the Hacker family ancestral homestead in northern Bavaria. Prayers that everyone, especially Mina and Tasha, are at peace.

I didn't know Lou, but I'm friends with his delightful nephew Greg. Clearly this man was a treasure and I wish I had known him. My deepest condolences to the entire family.

Through Death to Life, it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, and a day to admire them, but it takes an entire lifetime to forget them.

It has a been a long journey from the U.N. Forces 8th Army Honor Guard- Korea where I had the honor in meeting you where our friendship kindled.

No distance of place or lapse of time Lou can lessen the friendship of those who served thoroughly persuaded of each other's worth.

I wish that where I am they...
