Brother, 14 years since the fight of our lives... since that day when we fought like lions, but none more so than you. Many of the guys were wounded, but everyone else made it out ok. Thank you for covering our backs that day. We are forever indebted to you for your sacrifice. And you are never forgotten my brother. Rest easy. DOL. 781.

Jaylin, your father was the most courageous soldier Ive ever met. It was my honor to fight alongside him. Reach out anytime. ...

Christian , I may not have met you but you are always remembered in prayers. Thank you for serving this beautiful country!

I hope everyone still comes back from time to time to read these. I always come back to look at the messages that people write, even if it was ten years ago. If you're reading this, HI! It's Chris' daughter. I am now 18. I am safe, healthy, and happy. I am graduating high school in a month and I just wanted to say if you come here to leave a message, thank you. Maybe one day I could reach out to everyone and vice versa and I can hear more about my dad. I read everything that comes through...

You are indeed never forgotten brother. Sincerely, thank you so much for your selfless service. You are a true American Hero. I pray your family is well and blessed. Your brother in arms, Tank

I thought of you this past Memorial Day 5/28/18 and realized that you are now with Vanessa as well. I hope the both of you are resting in peace together in heaven.

Your love for our community, our Nation, your fellow 7th Group warriors, and protecting your family and is so inspiring and will never be forgotten. I wish so much we knew then what we know now and could go back and report the cowardly contact awaiting...

My son is named Christian because of my friendship with Mr. Longsworth. We were friends we lived around the corner from each other , we went to the same Catholic School. Christian taught me to be assertive and brave around others. I was shy and reclusive prior to meeting Christian. The first time I ever obtained a job Christian was right there with me. When someone took my beeper, Christian was there to go and retrieve it. I have so many stories and so many memories. I love you bro. And I...

Jaylin, I had the honor to serve next to your father in the US Army Special Forces. I also had the sacred experience to be next to him when he passed. He always talked about how proud he was of you. I never met you, but this Memorial week end I thought about you, because I too have a little girl and often think what would've happened to her if I was the one that never came home. I am glad to know you have learned to be strong and continued your life, but still think of your brave father. ...
