Christian "Mitts" Mittermeier, 22, of Coplay, passed away July 23. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of Georg and Mary Ellen (McGouldrick) Mittermeier of Coplay. He was a produce associate at the Giant in Coplay. A graduate of Whitehall High School, he was a member of the Class of 2011. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whitehall where he was a former altar server.
Survivors: Parents, sister, Hannah Grace Mittermeier at home; maternal grandmother, Rosemarie McGouldrick of Bethlehem. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Clarence McGouldrick, Jr. and his paternal grandparents, Johann and Maria Mittermeier.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 29,
St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 3024 S. Ruch St. Whitehall preceded by a calling hour from 9-10:00 a.m., Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay. Interment, parish cemetery, Whitehall.
