Dear Chris,
Karrie joined you April 28, 2012. Three weeks after Gary died. It has been a hard six months. I had not healed from losing you, when I lost my daughter. Unbelievable. I am still reeling in shock and disbelief. My comfort continues to be knowing I will one day join my children. I know you ran to meet her with joy with the most dazzling smile coming from both of you. I miss you son and will all the days of my life.

Dear Chris,
It has been six months, ten hours since you left us. How I miss you. I think of you every day and long to see you. You cannot come back to me, but one day I shall come to you. I see your joyous smile and I know you are running, jumping and leaping. You have been set free. You've seen the face of God and he has wiped away your tears. Free from all pain. Free at last, thank God you are free at last. You have seen Abraham, Issac and Jacob. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. ...

Chris with other Team Members in Vietnam
Chris helped a lot of soldiers in Vietnam. His willingness to come to Vietnam was a great testament to his faith and desire to give back to others what he received.

Chris Morland at Cam Rahn Bay, Vietnam, 1972
I met and worked with Chris in Cam Rahn Bay Vietnam, 1972. I was a Social Work/Psychology Specialist at the Drug Rehabilitation Center. He had come with his team; Randy Rhodes and Tyler Beckett. I shared many stories with Chris during his stay with our unit. He was a wonderful friend and even though I never saw him again, I have remembered him fondly through the years. Having read about him in these entries, I can attest that he was a gentle soul who graced my life with Faith, Hope, and Love.

Remembering Chris
Chris and I grew up together...I had a terrible case of hero worship. When as a strung out teen, I ended up in jail..Chris never gave up until he led me to Christ-
