I met Christian in Southern California, through a couple of his fellow special forces Marines who were also my friends. He had already left the corps, and our friends were on the verge of doing the same; the air seemed full of possibilities. At the time he was living in San Francisco, my native city, and I could tell after talking with him even briefly that he loved the place. But he loved New York more, and to New York he returned. I didn't learn that he had perished for over a year...

Christian, Although there are other days as well I do always remember you on this day. Our Platoon had a great deployment in 1997 and you were a big part of that.

To A Hero, You may not know that I wore your baby clothes as a baby. Your Mother knew my Mom Dorothy Presedo. I really do not know how they knew each other but they did and this is how im linked to you. I have mentioned your name to my family each year . To my wife, my daughter and to my son. So I would like to thank you for your baby clothes and for being a real hero. A real GI JOE. You are never forgotten. The Presedo family In LOVE, LAUGHTER, AND PEACE YOU ARE REMEMBERED

Dear Christian, I am remembering you today. You seemed like a wonderful person and I am sorry for having been cheated of the chance to get to you know you. Your artwork is stunning. Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice on that day and continue to look after your family and friends. God Bless.

Christian, today is your birthday, August 25, 2022. All of your family and your true friends desperately miss you every single day. We mourn the day you were snatched from life as a NYC probationary firefighter , on that day of infamy - September 11, 2001. In your honor, and in memory of The 343 Firefighters, as well as NYPD and EMS who were massacred at the WTC, we created www.christianregenhardcenter.org, at John Jay College, NYC. This is a multidisciplinary center designed to protect...

I never knew Christian, but I attended his funeral mass at St. Patrick’s Carherdral in lieu of the many firefighters who couldn’t attend services because they were working at Ground Zero. The words of his family and friends have stayed with me all these years, and I honor Christian’s memory every year.
