Christiane Josette Louise "Chris" Fara

A former colleague and I were reminiscing about our CRMH days over 20 years ago, most naturally Chris came to mind. We are so saddened to learn tonight, so late, about your passing. You were fiercely smart and a heck of a lot of fun, a wonderful storyteller and full of love for all. I can still hear your laugh, Chris. Condolences for your beautiful family.

Je voudrais juste vous dire que je me joindrai à vous dans la prière le jeudi 10 septembre 2020 pour prier pour Christiane, décédée il y a quatre ans.
C'était ma sur aînée que j'aimais tant pour qui elle était:
Affectueuse, sensible, généreuse, tolérante, intelligente, avenante, vraie, entière, sincère, fidèle, drôle, douée dans de nombreux domaines, très ouverte d'esprit, ingénieuse, en un mot, elle était UNIQUE!

My condolences to Chris' family. Chris is now in a better realm. She was a spirit that helped create the heart of Columbia River Mental Health Services. Chris and I started working at Elahan Place in 1985 and we both left in 2007. She always "thought outside the box" and contributed many hours of service to the less fortunate her whole life. My dear Chris,
We did it!
We became mothers in law together when our daring children, Nat and Josh got married in your presence!
You had a French word for it but, of course, I can't remember it!
I grew to love you in the short time I knew you!
Rest peacefully ....except when you are out "exploring" the universe!
