Christie Lynn Ethridge Holland

Mrs. Christie Lynn Ethridge Holland, 53, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Burke Hospice & Palliative Care, following a period of declining health. Christie was born on October 22, 1966 in Burke County to Johnny Ethridge Sr. and Linda Smart Ethridge. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, who was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Tony Holland of the home, her parents, Johnny and Linda Ethridge, one son, Tony Lee Holland of Connelly Springs, two daughters; Charity Rhoney and husband Tony "TC" of Connelly Springs, and Tiffany Wilson and husband Jeff of Connelly Springs. Also surviving is a sister, Cindy Justice and spouse David Bolick of Drexel, two brothers; Johnny Ethridge Jr. and wife Melena of Rhodhiss, and Joshua Ethridge of Asheville, four grandchildren; Ava Holland, Camdyn Abee, Gage Smith and Harper Smith, and one great-grandchild, Deagan James on the way. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese, with a graveside service to follow at Burke Memorial Park.
