I, as a young boy, remember seeing her and the entire Kalamazoo Lassie play baseball. My aunt, Dorothy Hackenberg, and my grandmother, Esther Groggel, bowled with her. Condolences to the family for the loss.

I met Chris when I was young. She would come into the coffee shop that my mom worked at and we would talk about softball/baseball for hours. I will never forget when she gave me a signed baseball card of herself, I cherished that along with her advice as I grew up.
