I can only say the BEST things about Chrissy. She is "Chrissy" to me because we went back 24 years and she was Chrissy to me. What an amazing leader and someone who rose through the ranks in her professional career to be a national leader, a person who never stopped, a young momma, a leader locally in her area and a force in the FL AHEC Network that always inspired thought and consideration when we had to make some of our largest decisions as a group. Chrissy was a wonderful young woman filled with love and an intense energy to make a significant mark in the world of health education. I was lucky enough to have her as my mentee when she first came to work at AHEC when she was still in high school. I loved her, her spirit and drive, her gentleness and sense of humor. It’s so hard to think of a world without Chrissy in it. She will be so missed.

With heavy hearts we ask for God’s comfort for Christina’s husband, son and family. She was an amazing person and her fellow board members from B.E.S.T. will miss her beautiful spirit.

Christina will always be "Chrissy" to me - her smile, golden hair, and cheerful voice filled every room she walked into. She just stood out because she was always so vivacious and fun to be around, even if things were tough. She was the best of us, and I'll miss her as long as I life.
