Not sure what to say?

Chris was a wonderful woman. She cared so much for everyone. May she rest in peace.

As you gather together to-day,
my thoughts and prayers
will be with you all
as we celebrate the life of Christina.

Christina Taran was one of the first people we met in Seattle in the early '80s. We were members of Servas and we wanted to connect with the local group; she was the contact person. Direct, informed, knowledgeable; she connected us not only to Servas but also to a peace initiative through the University Friends Meeting.

Reading her obituary I realized in how many ways she made Seattle a better place.

Chris was a very kind and nice person and
was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to.

Chris was a bright light for the people close to her. She remains an inspiration in my heart forever.

Pat and I have been friends since our teens and I got to know Chris through him. Whenever I came over, Chris was so cherry, even exuberant. Yet at other times, with or without Pat, she would talk about serious matters. A very thoughtful and interesting woman who seemed to enjoy her life and the lives of others. She left an impression on my life, lifting me up at difficult times. Quite a woman!

Christina was my great aunt. Over the course of my childhood there were a few visits to her house in Seattle. To this day I will always remember the notes in various rooms of the house. As well as her kindness and compassionate nature.
