Not sure what to say?

My dad, George MacDonald, always said he could spot a good teacher at 50 yards -- and he hired Christine, straight out of Western, to teach at Parchment. She was my fourth-grade teacher and I adored her. When there was an earthquake in Greece that year, the whole class brought blankets to send to the relief effort. She also brought Greek treats for us to try (including my first jolt of Greek coffee). Then she got married, and the entire class was invited to the wedding. She was so beautiful...

To the yiayia who made my heart grow so big. I miss you so much yiayia and I pray for you everyday. Not a moment has passed where I don't see your smiling face in my dreams or in my thoughts. I will always do my best to achieve the things I want out of my life in honor of you and Papou. Share your light with me to guide me on my path. I will always live you yiayia you will never be forgotten. May your memory be eternal.

Mary and Nancy: I extend to you my sympathy and sadness in this time of mourning, and I relinquish my smile for you as all the many joyful memories flood my heart from days of yesteryear.
Peace be with you both... love B.

Mary, Vince, Alex and Kristo,

We are so sorry to hear about Christine's passing. While I only met her briefly, it is clear that she passed on a legacy of love, strength and grace which lives on in you. You are all in our hearts and prayers right now. xoxo
