Christine Donato

Christine (Karvelas) Donato, 86, of Satellite, Florida, died January 31, 2007, in Melbourne, FL, after a long illness.

Born in Lowell, MA, on June 17, 1920, she was the daughter of James and Eva (Kouropoulos) Karvelas.

She graduated from Concord High School, Concord, NH.

Early in career, Mrs. Donato worked at Grenier Air Base, Manchester, NH. Later, she worked as a secretary with the Civil Service Department, Washington, DC. After her marriage, she spent of her life as homemaker.

Family members include her husband of fifty-five years, Andrew H. Donato of Satellite, Beach, Florida, a nephew, James Karvelas, her niece, Christine White, cousins, John Fanaras, Elaine Anastos, Christine Sconsa, Christine Lassonde, John Kouropoulos, her beloved aunt, Alice Tagis of Concord, NH, and sister-in law, Elise Karvelas. She was predeceased by her brother, Dr. Stephen J. Karvelas and her sister, Margaret Karvelas.

Services: Calling hours are Sunday from 4 to 7 PM at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH.

The Trisagion service will be held Sunday evening at 6 PM in the funeral home with the Rev. Andrew Mahalares.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 10AM in Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Manchester, NH.

Burial will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.
