Weatherhead Young Funeral Home Obituary

Weatherhead Young Funeral Home - 885 Mantoloking Rd. Brick, NJ 08723

Christine Giammarino passed away on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:38 am at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick New Jersey.

Born on June 14th, 1973 at 8:18 am, gone way too soon, she was 51 years old. She grew up on Kimball Street in Brooklyn New York with her Parents, Antonia and Joseph Giammarino and her Fraternal Twin Sister, Anita.

She will always be a kind, loving, thoughtful & gentle soul with a big heart. She was both book and street smart and absolutely one of a kind. She loved her family and friends and always wanted to do the right thing for them. She loved taking pictures and was a great photographer, always behind the camera. Taking pictures of friends, family, bands and wildlife gave her so much joy. She loved animals, dogs, foxes, feeding the birds and squirrels (even if sometimes that was by accident). She loved music, and going to see bands play, and she ALWAYS sang along. Some of her favorite bands are Child’s Play, The Exies, Every Mother’s Nightmare and Reigndance. She was a natural at making wire wrapped pendants, using her fingers to smooth the wire. She enjoyed going to conventions and making friends there, meeting people and making connections. She made everyone comfortable and at ease and could get along with any one of any age. Her hands were always warm and so was her heart.

She will always be loved and greatly missed by her family and friends, her mom, Toni, twin sister, Anita, her aunts, Marie, Joanie and Ginny, her cousins: Richard & Nancy, Phyllis & Rich, Robert, John, Luke & Loretta, Philip & Mimi, Cathy & Audie, Joanne & Jon and Valerie, and little cousins, Nicole, Matthew & Sara, Katie, Marc, Michael, Rob, Catherine, Matthew, Anthony, Andrew, Charlie, Linda, Peri and Roxanne and friends, Rose Anne, Chris, Ryan, Tim & Wanda.

Friends may attend a visitation on Wednesday, March 12th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home – 885 Mantoloking Rd. Brick, NJ 08723.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, 9:00 AM at St. Dominic RC Church - 250 Old Squan Rd. Brick, NJ 08724.  Interment will be private.  To send condolences to her family please visit her guestbook at: www.weatherheadyoung.com

Not sure what to say?

Today is our Birthday- I miss you, Happy Birthday my twin

Today is a month from your wake, I miss you terribly, my twin - always.

It’s been 4 weeks, I will never understand and I am so sorry for you. Sending you love and hugs, always. Love, your twin

Rest in Peace Christine, i will always cherish our conversations, you will be missed.

I still don’t understand how this is real. I miss you every day and I always will.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Dearest Christine, I will forever miss you. If I had not worked with Anita, I would have never met such an amazing person inside and out. I remember when Christine and her mom came to service their car at LG Chevy and would always pay a visit to me. It was the highlight of my day.

Christine made crystal jewelry and she made one for me that I have to this day. It is beautiful. She was supposed to make another, however I couldn't find the specific crystal. You and Anita were always...

Christine, how do I even start? My twin sister- Tine, you have always been sweet, kind, and thoughtful. From not wanting anyone to feel left out, to wanting to pick just the right gifts for people. She liked making people happy. Just saying that- liked? How are we saying goodbye? She always wanted to do the right thing for her friends and family. She always loved animals from when we were little. I remember she had this red dress with horses on it she loved wearing. She loved dogs, and wild...

I am deeply sorry this happens. You were taken too soon. Christine was such a wonderful person who touched the lives of so many and I got to know her more. I will always remember her kindness and the warmth she shared. She was so talented with the jewelry she made and I will cherish my necklace even more now. I remember one of the first times I spoke to her and I thought it was Anita talking on the phone. They sounded so alike I couldn’t tell who was who, we all laughed. Every time we all...
