Although Chris and I never had the chance to meet in person, we met through ancestry.com. Chris and I are second cousins and talked through emails. Chris had a big heart from what I could tell and she will truly be missed by myself and many who knew and loved her!! I only wished that I could have met her in person because I needed more of my Dads family in my life!! Hugs and many prayers go out to her family! May she Rest in Peace!! I met Chris in September 1962. She was introduced to me as another canasta player. That started many days together playing canasta. Through it all we became best friends. I remember many other days when after school she & I & her mother would sit in the kitchen playing cut throat hearts. We had so much fun together. She would attend church with me and also Sunday night youth group. Her step father was transferred to Oxnard and the family moved during Easter vacation 1963. We...

I worked with Chris at CSH. She was a wonderful friend to her co-workers and she really cared about the patients. She touched everybody she met in some special way.

Chris was the pretty blonde who moved into our lives for a short time in 10th grade. She lived a few blocks away and was part of our group. We lost contact for a few years. Thanks to the credit of a mutual friend tracking down classmates from Carlsbad High School we rekindled our friendship. I loved Chris's upbeat personality. Chris was always happy. We looked forward to her visits. Chris, you will be missed and remembered in our hearts forever.
