Christine Roques Matassa

Chris was such a beautiful lady, both inside & out. I had the pleasure of working for/under her at the Head Start program ( I was an itinerant teacher for students with Special Needs.) Every time I saw Chris she greeted me with a smile, always asked how I was doing, & also would tell me any new highlights of her life, which always revolved around her children! She was so proud of her family, and loved all of y'all so dearly. I miss Chris, & I pray that the Lord eases your mind by knowing that...

Joey, I'm so sorry for you loss. I remember, you always spoke of Christine with such fondness. "For His anger endureth but a moment, and in His favor is life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." I'll be praying for your family.

I am so sorry to hear of Chris' passing. I worked under her for years with the Head Start Program in Ascension Parish and she was a joy to work with. She will be missed. She always talked so highly of her family; I am truly sorry for your loss.
