Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear about Chris passing away. Even though I never had the opportunity to meet her peraonally I knew about her from Kevin coming to the store where I work. I felt it an honor to hold her up in prayer and thought about her often. I know she will be greatly missed. I pray strength, comfort and peace for her family that only the Lord can give. I pray that He will bring you a happy memory every time saddness overwhelms you. Take care

My thoughts and prayer are with the family.

I had Mrs. McAuliffe for a teacher and she was an amazing person. She had a smile that lit up the room and made my day at school that much better. Your family is in my prayers and I know God will see you through this hard time~ Sarah Dishner

I am another lucky person who had the pleasure of knowing Christine McAuliffe. I worked with her for several years at DMS. I saw how she impacted her students and her grace facing cancer. Especially rememberd are the kind notes I received from her. A special candle will shine near Traverse City Michigan in her memory during the Relay for Life coming up soon. I know her finest qualities will continue on in her family, friends, co workers and students. What a legacy!

I'm yet another one of Mrs. McAuliffe's students from DAEHS. Its been many many years since then but I still remember her bright and shining smile like it was just yesterday. I'm very sorry for your loss, but please know that her love for her students and the life lessons she taught us will leave everlasting imprints in our hearts and souls. She will never be forgotten and her zest for life will live on through her students and all of those lucky enough to have known her. God will guide...

Mrs. McAuliffe was by far my favorite teacher. I had her for eighth grade language arts. (I was actually in her class when 9/11 happened)

My passion was writing and she was my inspiration to keep going with it. She believed in me and always gave encouraging words, that I will never forget. She had such an impact in my life I wrote a paper in freshman English about how she was my hero. And I quoted some of the words she said to me in my advanced creative writing class my senior...

Mrs. McAuliffe was truly an inspiration. I can honestly count on one hand the number of people in my life who have had an equally profound impact on my life.

More than your average teacher, Mrs. McAuliffe helped me find my niche in the difficult years of middle school. She helped me discover a love for literature and writing that directly influenced what I would study in college and what I plan on dedicating my life to.

I am so deeply saddened to hear that such a...

Im sorry for your loss matt, I cant Imagine. If you need anything at all Im allways here for you and I will keep you in my prayers. - your friend, Emily Jarvis

Mrs.McAuliffe was a very amazing person! She ment a great deal to me. I wasn't in her class, but I use to talk to her everyday while I was in middle school. She was a close friend to me. She helped reach out to me when my mom passed away in March of 2010. Mrs.McAuliffe was like another mom to me. She always knew when something was wrong. She always told me how much she loved Mr.McAuliffe, Shane, and Matt. She always told me how proud of them she was, they were the lights shining in her eyes,...
