Paul and sons. Found this photo after today´s service. We are all so lucky to have Christie for a teacher. (Aidan Barrer´s first communion, circa 2000)

All three of our boys had you as their second grade teacher! Thank you, for all the love and effort that you put into that. Your name was mentioned on this past Mother´s Day thirty year later by those same men. God bless, rest in peace. The Booms Family.

God bless Mrs. McGuire. I had the privilege of being her second-grade student 18 years ago at St. Thomas. She radiated joy, peace, and hospitality, and I will never forget her impact on my life. I had the honor of knowing Christie when my two youngest were in her classroom 20+ years ago. She was an excellent teacher and an even better human being, who truly lived her faith. I was delighted to read that she had 5 grandchildren!! I can´t imagine the delight they brought to her.

Christie taught my two oldest children at St Thomas. She was a wonderful and compassionate teacher as well as a caring human being. Beth and Brian have such wonderful memories of Mrs. McGuire. I have often thought of her over the years. She will be missed.

Mrs McGuire taught all three of my boys. They loved her, and they thrived in her classroom. She loaned them suitcoats to wear for their First Communion. I miscarried and had surgery one summer, and she brought us a meal. She even made sure it was gluten free/allergy free for me. She was a great teacher and a great human being.
