Not sure what to say?

I feel honored to have been a colleague and personal friend of this wise woman. As a music therapy program director during Chris's later years at Marylhurst University, I came to know and appreciate her gentle caring and artistic spirit. I miss her and will pray to her saintliness now that she has prefaced my eventual arrival at the purely gates. I send you love and admiration from the earth realm, Christine, please be on the lookout for me one day in God's eternal plan!

Christine was a wonderful mentor and friend. Starting the Art Therapy Program was a great gift to all the Art Therapists who benefited from the program, and had the great privilege to know her. She was a wonderful person.

I enjoyed working with Chris at Marylhurst University and hearing how she loved being an art therapist. She admired and respected her students and her clients. In the years after we both retired, a walk together along the river and lunch at La Provence were a treat. She will be missed. - Pat Wittenberg

Christine, Christine had very solid perspective on how to start a new graduate program in Art Therapy at Marylhurst university . She did a great job implementing and maintaining this program during her tenure from 1986-2016. The Art Therapy Program is now at Lewis and Clark College since 2018. I think she would be very proud of the current program! I was an adjunct in the Art Therapy program since 2006 till 2019 . I really enjoyed my collaboration with Christine. She was Board Member...

I knew Chris first as a student in the Marylhurst Art Therapy program, and for many years later as an adjunct faculty member of her teaching staff. She had a profound influence on me and the direction of my life. I will hold her memory dearly in my thoughts and heart.

yes, she was a gentle soul...very thoughtful, considerate, creative...Chris, rest in peace in your garden
