Chris had a warmth and ease that brought everyone into her wide circle of friendship. She was, of course, beautiful, and hilarious, and so musical. But she was also a terrific, terrific writer. Recently a piece she wrote for our high school newspaper went up on Facebook. As I read it I was amazed that this was a high school piece. It was so sophisticated and smart, and beautifully written. She was just so good at so many things it was easy to forget that she could have been a professional...

Chris was my dearest friend. I knew her from her birth. We grew up together as neighbors on Jackson St. in Denver. We were avid Beatles fans, and spent many happy hours playing our records and listening to our transistors. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family. She will be missed.

So sorry to hear about Chris's passing. We have fond memories of her from our time in Denver and at Light of the World.

I only met your mom once and it was not hard to see she had a love of dogs and her grandkids. She was a a ray of sunshine and still had a sparkle in her eyes. Always smiling and just a joy to be with. I know she is resting and is happy in heaven.
