Christopher James Alex

Dearest Chris, My prayers are with you as fellow members of the HHS Class of 1968. I am proud the know you both as I did. Memories of knock hockey-turned bloody in the Pettit basement come to mind. I especially remember us watching the moon landing, beebee gun fights and the pink elephant. My youth is my fondest memory and Chris Alex was an integral part of us growing up in Huntington. BTW, The pie throwing was all Alex's idea... honest.

Dear Alex Family: I too was shocked to hear of Chris's passing. We go way, way back to Flag Day 1957 when I moved in across the street. The memories are endless: playing football in the back yard, stoop ball in the front and hide and go seek in the fields behind the house. Dear Christine and Family,
I was profoundly saddened to learn of Chris's passing, especially as we are about to celebrate our 40th Reunion of the Huntington High School Class of 1968. While much of my high school memories are a blur, I must say that those that I do remember center around Chris and his insanely funny high jinx. Always smiling, full of fun, with a twinkle of mischief in his eyes...that's how I will remember Chris Alex. How very special that you had 40 years of life and...

So sorrow to read about your loss of Mr. Alex. I didn't know him but I just wanted to give my condolence to you and your family. One day Jesus words will come true for all of us at Matthew 6:9,10 of Jehovah God's Kingdom we have a promise that there will be no more sickness, pain or death and the earth will become a paradise and the hope of seeing our loved one's again.

Dear Christine and family: It is with great sadness that I write this and I promise to add more when I'm better able to gather my thoughts. Chris and I go back a long way to Flower Hill, Blue Devil lacrosse, pies in the face, BB gun fights and double dating. I regret losing contact, but was able to keep up with Chris's life somewhat because my mother and Kay shared the same hairdresser. I wish I could be there on Friday to express my great fondess for Chris and sadness at his passing.
