Thnking of the Appleford family. So many fond memories of Chris in the late 1960's and sending my thoughts and best wishes to all of you.

I am so very sorry for your loss and send my heart felt sympathy to your family.

Marcia, Charlotte and Elliott, lean on your family and friends for strength, and always remember how much you are all loved!

Chris's keen sense of humor, love for his family, and love of the outdoors will be treasured memories for my family.

To all of Chris' family: I'm heartbroken for your loss. It is not fair that you've lost such a good man so soon.

To Charlotte and Elliott, your loss is the greatest, but maybe your blessing was also the greatest. Your Dad showed you how to live your lives honorably and with purpose. That's an immense gift. We will always remember Chris as the most positive and energetic person we ever had the pleasure to know. You can bet that those traits were passed on to both of his kids, and to all the other kids he spent time with. We send our best to Marcia, Charlotte, Elliott, Lyle & Betty, Robin and Barbara.

My deepest sympathies. Although I knew Chris only briefly, I feel I knew him well; because he welcomed me so easily into his life.
If his life can be judged by the week I was honored to spend canoeing with him, he lived a deeper, fuller life than most poeple ever will.
My thoughts are with you all.

I am sorry to have fallen out of touch with you guys. I still fight MS. I cannot walk yet. I miss Chris, but not like you, certainly. Chris will be missed by a lot of people. He inspired many.

Charlotte and Elliot -- We were very sadden to hear of your Dad's passing. Even though things have change, we are glad you have good friends and family around at this time. Lean on them, talk to them, it will help.
