Al, Frances, Kenny and the rest of the family,
I was sadden to here that your father had passed. He was the man that always greeted you with his great smile. How he smiling down on all of you. Keep that and the memories he gave you. They help you get though the tough times, I do know that. God be with you all.

To the Avant family, may your memories of your father, Grandfather, and friend be cherished by you forever. On behalf of the MWPHGL of Nebraska i can say we will surely miss Brother Avant for his kind and soft spoken heart.

Grandpa..I don't even know where to start..I love you and I always have even if I did not say it to you or see you as much as I should have. You were a fantastic person, so kind, so generous, so loving and I am so blessed/proud to have had you in my life. You will always be Loved/Missed/Respected by me...ALWAYS...I love you grandpa and I am sorry for the way I acted towards you after grandma died...so much it is eating me up...Tell grandma I love her and miss her and it gives me some peace...
