Not sure what to say?

I am writing this message eleven years after my dear Professor and friend died. He was my mentor during my PhD at UF, and was also the chair of my dissertation. I invited him to come to the School of Business at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez. He generously came and share his knowledge and his passion for education. After this long period of time I found this guest book. It is an honor to be able to write this message remembering my friend. I am sure that he is in Heaven close to...

My precious brother, you were such a light in this world when you were here. You made a difference in the lives of so many, including my own. I have so many memories of you, but the best one is of your smile whenever you saw me. Sometimes I look up and see you smiling down at me. I miss you. Jinny

Gayle, Rene & Brent-We are so sad to read this. We have thought of you often and wondered how you were. Mom and I are both in the DFW area and would absolutely love to reconnect. Please know that we are thinking of you all and know how much Chris will be missed. Much love-Tia DeHority Chambers and Carol DeHority [email protected]

Chris held an amazing mastery of the literature. I was always astounded at conferences and seminars with his knowledge and understanding of connected articles. At the same time, Chris was immensely gentle and compassionate, always preserving the dignity of others. Chris's capacity for inquiry, knowledge, empathy, and love was unbounded.

Chris was a generous friend and mentor to so many people whose lives he touched. Thirty five years has passed since we met, and his smile and laughter still echo in our home since his visit so many years ago.

Chris was my beloved brother. From childhood until his passing, he was always there for me. He grew from being my baby brother into a man I greatly loved and admired. Our world needs more men like him, not one less. His passing leaves a hole in my heart.
