Not sure what to say?

Dear Chris, You've certainlay left a "mark" on God's earth! You've made so many friends. I'm counting me as one of thousands of lives that you have touched. I'm considerably wiser now, having known you for the short time. It was fun working with you at the shop. Finding treasures was one of your passions that we shared. You made me feel special and I'll truly miss you. Heaven will be a happy place with you there to guide us all. Peace and Love, Jean

To the family of Mr. Becker,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss and my heart is broken for your family. My daughter spoke highly about how nice he was to everyone and that he always had a smile and never had a bad day.
Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
Even though we grieve, God is smiling to know that Mr. Becker has come home.
God Bless you all!

We were in Mr. Becker's class last year, and we want to say that we miss him very much. He was a great teacher, and he loved to teach reading. We loved his pink flamingo hat and his cool ties. He did a whole bunch of wacky stuff like WacKy Wednesday when we got to wear shoes that didn't match and ties that were funky. We love you! Star, Ryan and Todd

Dear Becker family, Chris came to teach at Lecanto Primary in 1985 and we immediately bonded. He called me big sis, and I called him little brother. It was that way until our last goodby at the hospital. He was truly a warrior for students and education. He brought me laughter, joy, frustration, and taught me a whole lot about life. We traveled to many FEA conventions and he has friends nationwide, and around the world. He would always light up any room be it filled with friends or strangers. I...

To Chris's family I send my sympathy. Chris was a wonderful guy who fought for what he believed in. I learned a lot from him and will never forget him. My son Tristan never got to have Chris as a teacher but still looked up to him and misses him as do I and my fiance Gregg. Chris taught me so much and I hope to have the strength to fight for what is right just like him!!
We love and miss you Chris!!!

Chris, although I have only known you for 6 or 7 years, I am so glad that our spirits had time to occupy the same space. You always had a unique way of viewing the world and all the diffucult issues we all face. Your relentless fight for what was right will certainly be missed. I am glad I met you and got to know you on a personal level. Rest in peace brother, love, Sandra

Dan Nelson, Chris Becker, Michael Dunne - Halloween 1970

Chris was one of my best buddies in grade school and junior high. We went to different high schools and saw each other seldom after that, but I was always glad to see him when we crossed paths.

Just this morning, before I heard of Chris' passing, I was scanning old photos from my family album, and there was Chris with me and Dan Nelson, Halloween 1970. Of course, you have to take my word that it was Chris. His face was obscured by the Great Pumpkin head he wore!

My prayers...

To all his friends and Brother Mike & his Family,
Chris was My best friend and probably my only closest friend. Between us there were no secrets. I was just a bit player in his extensive role of friends and colleagues, but felt as if I knew a bit about each one of his friends amidst the long conversations we had on many occasions. I will especially miss Chris and his moral support in our many adventures and endeavors together. Chris was one of God's "Special Children" and was Loved. I...

Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. I will always remember Chris at the NEA Delegate Assembly doing all kinds of crazy things to raise money the Fund for Children and Education. I will miss his friendly demeanor and his enthusiasm for all things related to education.
