Not sure what to say?

Just been told about Chris. So sorry to hear about this. We all had some pretty good times back in the day. Take care. John Shields.

My condolences to Michael and all the Bird family, sorry for the late message, only found out last week. My name is Chris Baker, we kicked arround during the 70s, I was an apprentice mechanic @ Napier Motors. One thing stands out was Chris droping a V8 into a Mk3 Zephyr !! Caused quite stir at the time!! Sorry for your loss Michael, Kind regards to all. Chris Baker Dunedin [email protected]

Deepest sympathy in your loss of a good friend and long time client. Chris had a great sense of humour and was always willing to give things a go. We will miss him dearly.

A good man, gone to soon. Condolences to all - Karen & Ross Petrie

Dear Chris, a wonderful nephew who always greeted us with open arms, a cheeky wee grin, always happy and always looked the same- ageless.Always happy to help. A beautiful soul taken much too soon.Rest in peace Chris

`Bird-Man´, Chris was a very special friend over the last 40 years, the fun trips away with him to Japan, Singapore, and Australia to see the F1 racing and to buy cars. Holidays in Wanaka on the lake, always keen for a night out, and never shy about paying, even when not his turn. Chris was as good a mate as you could ever wish for, and will be sadly missed but always remembered. Tony and Glenys

So very sorry to hear of the passing of my cousin Chris, very sad news, I have a few cheekie memories of way back in the day re: flash cars and speedy getaways deepest sympathies Marise Gow
