The only person my mother ever left my father alone with. Her faith was justified hours later. They spent an italian .after dinner coffee" discussing their histories,the ills of the world and their solutions. Never was a voice raised. My dad asked about him ever after.

They were two sides of a coin. Involved and involving, your father was a quiet support in his family and community. Not showy or flamboyant, your dad was there with a spark in his eye, and, if you asked, sage...

My Uncle Chris was always so kind, gentle and just plain nice to be around. I will forever hold him in my heart.

To all our beloved Bortugno's, Sandra and I, and the rest of the Loken family want to extend our most heartfelt condolences to your whole family. I became a friend of the Bortugno children in my early teens, and I have so many wonderful memories of times spent with the whole family, and what a quiet, gentle presence their dad, Christopher Jr., brought to the family.
