Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory - Ballwin Obituary

Boyd, Christopher Michael, passed away, Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the age of 36.

Loving son of James and Kathryn Boyd (nee Jones); beloved brother of Stephanie (Phillip) King and Adrienne (Nathan) Kinzinger; dear uncle of Audrey King, Patrick King and Sloane Kinzinger; grandson of Dorothy Jane and the late Charles Boyd and William and the late Norma Sue Jones; nephew of Cheryl (Jim) Jones, Donna (Robert) Ebert and the late Joseph Boyd; cousin of Jeremy Ebert, Amanda Ebert, Emily Balzraine (Jones), and Natalie Jones; loving nephew and friend to many.

Christopher was a graduate of Westminster Christian Academy in 2005. He had a love of all kinds of music. He was an avid boy scout that loved the outdoors, in particular his experience at the Philmont scout ranch in New Mexico. He was a loyal employee and progressed to a manager position of Dewey's Pizza during his final 16 years of life. He had a kind heart and was a quiet soft spoken gentleman. He loved his sweet pet Airedale terrier Scout. He was an avid reader and knowledgeable on a wide variety of subjects making him an avid trivia buff. A favorite quote by Mark Twain was "The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who can't read them."  He will be missed by the many people who had contact with him throughout his entire life. Another favorite quote by CS Lewis of his helps define him - “I believe in Christianity as I believe the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.”
