Shared the news with Dean and we are both heartbroken. So many wonderful memories filled with that huge smile. I would love to see them laugh together again. Chris became a great friend to me during those years, as well. Prayers to his family and peace and comfort to you, my precious friend.

I am so distraught to hear this news. Chris wrote the most encouraging, positive, and inspirational words to Katie on her caringbridge site. I can't believe we didn't get to thank him in person when he was in daphne visiting not too terribly long ago. Hug and tell everyone you know you love them NOW for who knows what tomorrow will bring. I'm praying for strength for your family and friends. You are taken care of now, in Gods arms while we on earth wait for our time to join you and rejoice in...

I rarely saw Chris without a smile! My favorite memory of Chris was when he and Dean climbed the windmill on my family farm one night. He looked like he had world at his fingertips....Smiling the whole time! I guess he packed much into such a short life. He never missed an opportunity to have fun. I was blessed to know him.

I remember Chris as warm, friendly, and always ready with a witty joke or saying. No memories of Fulton Road School are complete without him. My sincere condolences to his family.
