Christopher James Brown (Chris, CJ) passed away May 20, 2022. Chris was born on January 12, 1959 in West Covina, CA. He was 63 years old. Chris was the youngest of 5 children born to Bettina (Turney) Brown and Arthur Washington Brown M.D.
Chris attended West Covina High School and graduated in 1977. He went on to San Diego State University and studied Criminal Justice and Construction Management.
Chris worked in the Construction industry managing large commerical projects for Romero Construction, building the Pala Casino fire station and recreation buildings. He also was involved with the 76 highway expansion. He managed the up grading of the Saboba Casino and the Corona Public Library. Chris worked for the Walsh Company as a project manager on their largest project: the LAX airport expansion.
Chris loved the Dodgers, Notre Dame Football, Fishing, working on cars, using his large collection of tools to fix anything and everything. He enjoyed running and weight lifting. He was really good at everything he did. But most of all he loved his family with all his heart. He will be missed by many.
Chris is survived by his wife of 25 years Sandy Brown, his daughter Emily Brown, his stepson Scott Kasper, daughter in law Jessica Kasper, Grandson Charles Kasper and Granddaughter Kayleen Kasper. He is also survived by his sister Nancy Bushard (Phil), brother Steve Brown (Andrea), sister Debi Pruitt, brother Mike Brown, and many nieces and nephews. Many close High School friends and co workers.
