chris was one of my consolers at RYLA he made me feel heard he listened he was a caring and giving soul anytime i seen him he had the brightest smile he lit up any room he walked in he was a big brother/ father figure to me he encouraged me to be the best I can be and take risks his encouraging words will always stick with me

Chris was one of my counselors at RYLA just earlier this summer. I could never have imagined such that a tragic thing could happen to someone so lively, friendly, and cheerful only a couple weeks after I first met him. He was someone that radiated positivity and goodwill to those around him and never let a bad mood get anyone down. Truly an inspiration and motivator for everyone that met him at the camp. May he stay with us in memory and spirit.
