Not sure what to say?

To Micheal and Family,
I was saddened to read of your father's passing. I remember you from West Jax Elementary School. I am Mrs. Cobb. I know this is a rough time for you. But you all hold your head up, and move on to being the family your father would have wanted you to be. Michael, you know I always liked being around you, because at an early age, you showed me and your classmated you were special. Anytime I think or hear the name Michael Burks, I think of that trip to "Discovery...

I am so sorry for you loss. I worked with Chris about four years back. He was always a happy person and always made me smile. Your family is in my prayers.

Lucy and I are deeply saddened by Chris' passing. We have worked with him during special events for several years where he was an incredible ambassador for the city. Michael D. Bolena

Chris & Mike,
I just wanted to write and say that my prayers and thoughts are with you both during the loss of your dad. I am sure he loved you both as I think very highly of you both. Just know that your dad is in a much better place than we all are. He is in no more pain and has a brand new body. Try to remember all the good times that you had with your dad. If there is any thing I can do please let me know. I will keep both of you in my prayers and thoughts. May God Bless...

I was so sorry to hear of Chris’ passing. I had the pleasure of working with him on several city events. He was a beautiful person and always had nothing but kind words and warm smiles. He will be missed dearly, not just by myself but all those he touched working city events. We are blessed to have known him. My deepest condolences.

We had the privilege of befriending Chris while working events at the city's parks. He always came by the tent to visit the family, get a snack, and share a little conversation. It has truly been our pleasure to know and laugh with Chris. We surely will miss him, but his friendship and all the crazy things he would say will forever echo in our hearts. You have our continuous prayers!

We send our deepest condolences to the Burks familly. We're sharing your sorrow. You are in our thoughts and prayers. May the peace which comes from the memories of love be a comfort to you now and in the days ahead. Lift up your heads to God and He will give you the strength you need.
May God Bless you and your Family

Greater love have no man than a man who would lay down his life for a friend! Chris(chubby, blob) was that kind of friend. We grew up together, played football in my backyard, went to burger king together.Everytime I saw him, he greeted me kindly, I had the honor to coach his son Michael at Ribault, his mannerism displayed his father's grace. Chris is going to be missed here, but I have an assurance that I will see him in glory one day. I bless God for the opportunity to have befriended such...
