Remembering Christopher on the 20th anniversary of 9/11...

We will never forget. Prayers today for Christopher's friends and family. Much love from Texas

I never met Christopher Newton Carter. Right after 9-11, bracelets inscribed with the name of a victim were available in exchange for a donation to the recovery and support effort. At that time, we didn't know the entire scope of the tragedy. I wore the bracelet 24 hours a day, seven days a week, just praying somehow he would be found and saved.

Going through my jewelry box today, I found the bracelet and the feelings of overwhelming sorrow came back to me. We live in tough times...

to my cousin my family my friends. I did not know you very well or the family up until now we were and always shall be related. I pray that God will give us comfort. even though it has been 13 years. we still remember that day. the day in which our Lord and Savior so came home. know that there should not be no more pain or tears. I love you and God bless you all.

For Christopher,
It shines as brightly as you do in the stars at night watching over us.
Love, Teresa

Darling Chris,
I still miss you so much and wish you were here in New Jersey with us. I am so grateful that I have such wonderful memories of my time spent with you. You were a wonderful brother and I love you so much.

To the family,
Every year I participate in Sacramento, CA 5K Run to remember and I take Christopher with me every step of the way. Never forget...

Twelve years later and the memory of that horrible day has not faded. I worked with Susan for a short period of time and had the pleasure of meeting Christopher just prior to 9/11. I knew several people who perished that day and remember Christopher in my prayers. Each year I bow my head when I hear his name called during the memorial ceremony.

Chris,
I still miss you and can see your face like it was yesterday. I cherish all the wonderful memories I have of you.
Your everloving sister. Teresa
